  • The Imperial Family has an auspicious ceremony called "Hare no hi no Zen" during the first three days after New Year on the days.
  • The meal was prepared in three different course of dishes, and Kiji Zake (Pheasant Sake) was served with the side dishes as a celebratory drink.
  • Kiji Zake is a traditional Sake served at lmperial Court since Heian period more than a thousand years ago -in Japan.
  • Kiji Lake was brewed by put ting the roasted pheasant breast tender in hot sake and steamed in it for a while to be served with the lmperial court dishes.
  • But today we extracted the essence of pheasant breast tender and reproduced the traditional rich taste with a Japanese Sake by our original manufacturing processes.
