MPD newest edition to the retainer family is P/N BK-6219-TR for 20 mm diameter batteries.
Its slim profile offers a 23% narrower width than other competing designs.
A low cost alternative to traditional battery holders, coin cell retainers do a great job of price versus performance.
MPD P/N: BK-6219-TR is suitable for use in greeting cards, consumer products, electronic toll tags, single-use devices, RFID and other price sensitive applications that use lithium coin cells for primary power.
MPDs lithium battery retainer has four SMD leads to solder and is made of nickel-plated phosphor bronze.
Dual pressure contacts offer low electrical resistance and are optimized to keep a tight connection with the battery.
Shock and vibration resistant per EIA-364 assures designers of trouble free use in typical applications.
The battery is easily changed without tools or instructions due to the intuitive design, and the narrow width contributes to the ease of removal.
