Meiji Kutani Tea Set

A set of 1 tea pot, 1 cooling jar and 5 small tea cups.

This set of Japanese old Kutani ware was made in the Meiji period. Old Kutani ware are very different from those nowadays, as  they are often more elaborate and with more details shown in their pattern. The surface of the ware is covered with real gold, making it even more precious.
