Our microalgae leather is a next-generation sheet made from 80% microalgae biomass and 20% biopolymers, produced using our proprietary bioprinting technology and developed for leather goods, handbags, footwear uppers, and apparel. Designed with a soft, silky handfeel, high flexibility, and a smooth, skin-like surface, it offers a premium tactile experience while remaining ultra-lightweight, foldable, and easy to work with.

Available in thicknesses from 0.1 to 5 mm, the material can be supplied in sheet or roll format, with custom dimensions and sample swatches available. It is compatible with key manufacturing processes including cutting, stitching, edge painting, lamination, embossing, and backing, making it easy to integrate into existing leather goods and fashion development workflows.

Depending on the target application, the material can be finished with plant-based additives or PU-based coatings, and is available in custom shades using microalgae-based pigments or standard reactive dyes.
