    Description

The Barn Biluochun is crafted from premium tea buds sourced from Yixing, plucked before the Qingming Festival. The infusion is bright and clear, with fine downy hairs visibly present, exuding a fresh, refreshing downy fragrance. Its aroma is clean, elegant, and refined, reminiscent of orchids and musk, with remarkable persistence, and even the cooled empty cup retains a distinct cold fragrance.

As the ancient verse goes: "Before the emperor has tasted the Yangxian tea, not a single herb dares to bloom."

Yixing, known in ancient times as Yangxian, is not only the famed capital of purple clay pottery but also the hometown of tribute teas. Legend has it that the name "Biluochun" was bestowed by Emperor Kangxi. After tasting the Yangxian tribute tea, the emperor found its fragrance reminiscent of orchids and musk, its taste sweet and refreshing, and he felt invigorated in both body and mind. When he inquired about the tea's name, his ministers replied that the locals called it "Xiasharenxiang" (literally, "frighteningly fragrant"). The emperor deemed this name inelegant, and instead, inspired by the tea's appearance—jade-green in color and curled like a snail—he gave it the name "Biluochun" (Green Snail Spring).
