The pekoe silver needle tea, also known as pekoe, has long been crowned as the "beauty of tea”, or the "king of tea". The raw materials of fresh pekoe are completely composed of tea buds, which explain why the finished products appear like needles covered densely with silver white hairs, and hence come the name "pekoe silver needle tea".
