Wine:  This is a Rosé wine made with Cabernet 50%, Syrah 50% using méthode saignée which means that first-run juice is used after leaving it soaked on the grape skins for only 4 hours, which gives the wine its color pink.
Color: brilliant rose-salmon
Nose: red fruits (raspberry,cherry) with spicy notes (white pepper) typical of Syrah
Palate: fresh, full body and fragrant, with good length and spicy, mineral ending.
Food pairing: served chilled, delicious anytime, perfect with oriental, spicy meat, fish dishes, seafood, sushi, teriyaki
Producer notes: The name Pinksy is chosen in honor of the Syrah grape which gives this spicy wine a personality of its own. Its brilliant color has reminded us of the poetry of Carducci:  “ Il sol traguarda basso ne pergola / E si rifrange roseo / Nel mio bicchiere: aureo scintilla e tremula …” (Ruit Hora) (The sun peeks low through the pergola / And reflects golden pink / In my glass: a scintillating trembling halo…)
