EG1601 vacuum tester is a portable vacuum measuring device. It is mainly used to test the seal levels of engines valves and valve seats before or after the rebuilding of cylinder heads. It can also used in vacuum tests for other purposes.

• For the cone faces of engine valves and valve seats, their air-tightness directly influences the engine’s general performance.
• EG1601 can be used to measure and test, if the vacuum level is below 600 mbar, the valves and valve seats need to be repaired.
• When repairing, the valve grinders can be used to reface the valve cones, also boring the valve seats with valve seat boring machines.
• To judge whether the valves and valve seats have reached the standard, you can also use this device to test after repairs.
• The unit is equipped with a vacuum pump.
• The quick-couplings make it easy to connect and disconnect with the adapters.
• Operation: choose the suitable cupule according to the size of air inlet of the cylinder head.
• Insert the cupule pipe into the vacuum tester’s plug tightly.
• Open the switch, put the cupule tightly on the inlet, the meter will then show the readout.
• If the value is over 600 mbar (0.6kg), it means the sealing is good.
