The protection IC is the high-end IC among the ALPU series (MP, P). The encryption core is based on Rijndael AES-128 with 192-bit programmable parameters. The RTC, IR receiver, watchdog timer, switch–out, interrupt and PWM channels are available. The protection IC is a slave device that always operates with MCU through the serial bus.
