This is a fine quality Pu’erh raw cake from our tea collection. The source of this tea cake is from the ancient arbor tea trees that grow in the primitive forest around Bulang and Mengsong regions, the high attitude remote area of Yunnan Province. This tea cake is treated by traditional tea processes (such as green-killing, rolling and twisting, sub-baking), then stone-pressed into a neat and tidy tea cake. The thick blades and clear veins of the tea leaves can be clearly seen on the cake. This tea cake is strong in sweet floral notes and the color of the brewed tea is a shimmering yellow. The taste is mellow and lingering in the mouth. Over time, this tea cake will gain value and become a vintage dark tea. The color of the brew soup will evolve from a yellowish shade to a dark red one and by then, the taste of the soup will be mellower, thicker and more pleasant.
