Reflection is a white film with low specific gravity and high reflectivity, used in LCD backlit units and LED lighting systems. It contains a large mount of reflection units which can minimize the amount of light loss, so it allows a lower capacity light source to produce a very bright display.
Generally speaking, there are two types of reflectors. Firstly, adding inorganic beads on PET substrate, like TiO2 or BaSO4 to form high density type reflector. Secondly, it uses micro air bubble technique to form low density type reflector. Both types of reflector could effectively reflect the light by these reflection units which stuffed in reflector main layers. The reflectivity could reach 99% for high quality reflector. Therefore, the brightness could be enhanced by 30-60% and power consumption could be lowered by 50%.
