Riesling 2023 / Terroir ZN

The color is greenish with golden reflections. The aroma is intense, dominated by tones of ripe yellow fruit and yellow apple. The taste is structured and smoothly follows the aroma. The finish is long, with pleasant acidity.

Fermented and aged in the stainless steal tank for 7 months on the fine lees, then filtration and bottling.

Great with light appetizers such as salads, seafood or fresh cheeses. The acidity and freshness perfectly complements these dishes. For main courses, Veltliner is the ideal partner for fish and various creamy or fatty dishes. The traditional pairing with Wiener schnitzel is perfect.

Wines of original certification. Sophisticated taste of the Znojmo region. With these wines, you can be sure that you are drinking tradition. The VOC label is only awarded to wines of the three most typical varieties of the Znojmo sub-region - Sauvignon, Riesling and Grüner Veltliner.

Thaya Winery

We farm about 105 hectares of our own vineyards. They are located in the immediate vicinity of the winery and in the neighbouring wine-growing villages – specifically the villages of Hnanice, Šatov, Havraníky, Vrbovec and Dyjákovičky. The vineyards adjacent to the Podyjí National Park have been known since the ancient Romans for their unique sunny location.
