The SDC-5300 Series is a range of microprocessor-controlled, programmable DC-DC step-down converters designed to provide stable and adjustable DC power for automotive, mobile and battery-powered applications. Combining DC-DC conversion with a built-in battery charging function, the series provides a versatile solution for both powering equipment and charging auxiliary batteries.

The output voltage can be digitally adjusted from 12V to 15V in 0.2V steps, allowing the converter to be fine-tuned to suit different loads and voltage-sensitive devices. The SDC-5300 Series also features a 2-stage Lead-Acid battery charging mode, providing 14.3V bulk charging and 13.6V float charging for reliable battery maintenance.

A clear 3-digit LED display shows output voltage, current, operating mode and fault status, while remote voltage sensing helps maintain accurate voltage at the load or battery, particularly when the connection distance is long. A remote control terminal enables automatic or manual ON/OFF control, including ignition-controlled operation to help prevent unnecessary discharge of the vehicle’s starter battery.

An independent always-on 0.5A auxiliary output is also provided for critical electronic devices or remote control functions. The series incorporates multiple fail-safe protection features with diagnostic fault codes for easy troubleshooting.
