The design concept is "Adding "a bit of" individuality to daily life". The traditional lacquerware "Tsugaru-nuri," which has been passed down since the Edo period in Aomori Prefecture, has been transformed into accessories used in everyday life. The meticulous hand-painted lacquering creates unique pieces in terms of color and pattern, subtly highlighting the individuality of the wearer.
設計理念為「在日常生活中增添『少許』個性」。品牌把自江戶時代延續至今的青森縣傳統工藝漆器「津輕塗」改造成日常生活中使用的飾品。精湛的手工漆藝使每件作品的顏色和圖案都獨一無二,巧妙地展現佩戴者的個性。
Brand Introduction (KABA) 品牌介紹:
KABA is a project-based brand operated by members with different strengths from different industries. It is dedicated to the enhancement of skills of young craftsmen from Aomori Prefecture's traditional lacquerware craft "Tsugaru-nuri," and the succession and development of traditional crafts.Therefore, except for maintaining existing markets, it is essential to explore new markets for creating opportunities for young craftsmen to be recognized. KABA started the product planning and development seven years ago, and began to sell and exhibit in Japan six years ago. Aiming to expand into overseas markets, KABA has exhibited not only in Japan but also overseas, such as Paris, New York, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. This year, It continues participing in both domestic and international exhibitions, with plans to develop and launch new products.
KABA是一個由不同業界的成員運用各自的專長營運的企劃型品牌,致力提高青森縣傳統漆器工藝「津輕塗」的年輕工匠之技術,協助傳統的傳承和發展。因此不僅要維持現有市場,還需要開拓新市場,以創造年輕工匠被接納的可能性。KABA在七年前開始認真策劃和開發商品,並於六年前開始在日本國內進行銷售和參展。同時以拓展海外市場為目標,除了在日本國內,也曾在巴黎、紐約、香港、台灣等地參展。今年亦將在日本國內及海外參展,並計劃開發和推出新商品。
