The globe valve is used to intercept the medium flow. The stem axis of the globe valve is perpendicular to the sealing surface of the valve seat, and is broken by driving the rise and fall of the valve core. Once the globe valve is in open state, it is no longer contact between the valve seat and valve seal surface, and has a very reliable cut action, so its sealing surface mechanical wear is smaller, because of the repair or replace the sealing element do not need to remove the whole valve from the pipeline, this for valve and pipeline welding is very suitable.
