This ultrasonic level sensor is able to transmit the ultrasound through the bottom of the water. Ultrasound will be reflected on water level surface and this sensor can receive the reflected signal. The built-in micro processor of the sensor will calculate the time interval from ultrasound transmitted to received, together with the transmission speed of the ultrasound in water.
