Victorian era diamond necklace/tiara dual-purpose model, around 1880, The necklace is 42cm long, Weight 53 grams. The main diamond is about 2.5 carats.  A total of about 12 carats of rose cut and double rose cut diamonds.

Antique tiaras were formerly the exclusive property of royalty. Very few have survived to this day. The tiara was stacked with gold and silver, which was more used in the Victorian era and was used in the setting of diamond jewelry, because the diamonds would appear yellow when set in gold, and silver was used to set diamonds in the days before using platinum and white gold.
