This waste heat boiler mainly consists of a smoke inlet and outlet smoke sections and the tubular heat exchange section. The smoke goes through the tube side while water goes through the shell side. The appropriate smoke flow rate and heat exchange area can be designed in accordance with carbon black production capacity and the smoke inlet temperature so as to avoid tube fouling thus offering low heat exchange efficiency and to guarantee maximum energy recovery.
