Installation

⚠️ Disconnect power at the source before installation. Mains work must be done by a licensed electrician.

1. Remove the old socket and disconnect original wires. Expose about 5mm of bare copper.
2. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the frame notch and gently pry off the faceplate.
3. Connect wires to the socket terminals per the wiring diagram.
4. Ground the unit according to local regulations/codes. No ground wire = unsafe installation / risk of injury.
5. Secure the socket firmly to the back box.
6. Turn the RCD / breaker back on.
7. Press the power button 2–3 times to test; LED turns on/off.
8. Plug in your device.
9. Press the socket power button and turn the device on.
10. Download the Yoswit App — the socket is automatically detected and added.
