日本傳統工匠在手工製作的鐵罐外表，把具有各種圖案的薄銅板精心貼附在罐身上。在銅板上用特殊液體腐蝕出各種圖案，是一門特殊的工藝。經過腐蝕後的圖案表面有強烈的質感，再經老藝人手工漆繪部分圖案後，使得圖案     上的花鳥魚蟲活靈活現。

Traditional Japanese craftsmen handmade tin can appearance, thin copper plate with a variety of patterns carefully attached to the can. The etching process put a strong patterned texture, it becomes more vivid after some partial hand-paint.
