	Ferrite(Ceramic) Magnet is manufactured from oxide materials using powder metallurgical process. Ceramic magnet is most widely used because of its low cost, high-energy, good electric insulation and excellent resistance to demagnetization.	The most common type of ceramic magnets are anisotropic strontium, anisotropic barium and isotropic barium magnet.	Ferrite (Ceramic) Magnets are essentially composed of oxide materials with Barium Carbonate or Strontium Carbonate, manufactured under a powder metallurgical process.	The feature of low recoil permeability, along with the high coercive force, makes them highly resistant to demagnetizing fields. In addition, their relatively low specific density and economical cost are also very attractive to the magnet designers.	When designing the ferrite magnets for a particular application, primary consideration should be given to its shape limitation due to the powder metallurgical manufacturing process and the temperature dependence of ferrite materials.	Ferrite Magnets has good anti-corrosion performance, no surface treatment needed. There are two manufacturing process for ferrite magnets:	Dry Process &amp; Wet Process. By dry process, can produce isotropic &amp; anisotropic magnets; by wet process, only anisotropic magnets can be produced. Isotropic ferrite magnets are not oriented and can be magnetized in any direction; anisotropic ferrite magnets are different, they are all oriented in the manufacturing direction, and should be magnetized in the direction of orientation.	For dry process, the tool can be changed and developed easily, while for wet process, it is complicated to change the tool and the tooling charge is much higher.	At present, we have put our emphasis on arc segment magnets for electric motors, disc magnets and block magnets for special applications.

The cost of SmCo material is the most expensive, so SmCo is recommended only when its performance is a high-temperature environment is a concern.Characteristics &amp; Application of SmCo Permanent Magnet:SmCo permanent magnet has high magnetic energy product and high coercive force. Its properties are better than Alnico, ferrite permanent magnet. Its max. energy product is up to 239kJ/m3 (30MGOe), which is three times of that of Alnico8 permanent magnet, eight times of that of ferrite permanent magnet (Y40). So the permanent magnetic component made from SmCo material is small, light and stable in property. It is widely applied to electro acoustic&amp; telecommunication apparatus, electric motors, measure meters, peg-top, electronic watch, microwave apparatus, magnetic mechanism, sensor and other static or dynamic magnetic routes.The curie temp. of the SmCo permanent magnet is high and its temperature coefficient is low. So it is suitable for use at 300, high temp.SmCo permanent magnet is hear and bristle. Its rigidity strength, tensile strength and press strength are low. So it is not suitable for framework. The main ingredient of SmCo permanent magnet is metal cobalt (Co≥Y99.95%). So its price is high.
