DESCRIPTION 	 This wine is ruby-red in colour, well-balanced, with a sapid, vinous, with soft tannins, good structure, persistent and very pleasant.  TECHNICAL SHEET 	 The vineyard of origin is located on the hilly hinterland of Le Marche in the province of Ancona and is company owned. Soil is of medium consistency, fresh, with a southeast exposure. The process of &ldquo;vinification&rdquo; occurs with the skin&rsquo;s maceration for ten to twelve days, followed by a phase of thermo-controlled fermentation. Subsequently, it refines itself for circa six to eight months in steel and four more months in bottle.  ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES 	 Colour: Intense ruby red. Hainle Vineyards Estate Winery

Zweigelt is a rare grape variety in the Okanagan Valley and very well suited to the Okanagan&rsquo;s dry, continental climate. A native to Austria, where it was developed in 1920 by crossing two local varieties: Blaufr&auml;nkisch (also known as Lemberger) and St. Laurent, Zweigelt is now one of the most widely planted reds in Austria, but it hardly grows outside of that country. It was named after Professor Dr. Zweigelt, the director of the research institute where the grape variety was developed. The grapes for this wine were first planted in British Columbia in 1999 at our Deep Creek Estate property. Since then, the wine has started out as a light to medium body red. In the early years, it has been an unoaked spicy fruity wine. Today, this wine is a full body red, which tastes great when oaked. Its spicy-fruit forward-taste makes it a perfect candidate for pairing with all kinds of meats. Our favored pairing is with wild game. This wine won best of show in Los Angeles and was served at the 80th Oscars. The grapes were harvested in November 4th at an average of 24.3% sugar, and fermented on the skins for 14 days, giving the juice a deep ruby red color, with a characteristic bluish tinge. It was aged for 18 months in one vintage medium tossed Opus one French oak barrel, in which it went through malolactic fermentation. Raspberry, blackberry and cocoa notes dominate the aromas, with background hints of leather and nutmeg. Lightly oaked, it has a hint of vanilla with a dry finish and soft tannins. This makes it a natural match with many kinds of dishes. Its mouth-filling, smooth and yet fruit-forward character will make a wonderful match with many wild game and even seafood dishes, especially if the flavors are bold. Southeast Asian and Mediterranean dishes are also excellent companions to this unique wine.&nbsp;Sharp cheeses like aged cheddar and Asiago are also great companions to the wine. This marks Deep Creek&rsquo;s fourth vintage of Zweigelt, in both the oak-aged and unoaked styles. The wine has enjoyed tremendous popularity among our customers, and has been a consistent medal-winner. When still young, it will benefit from some air contact, letting the wine breathe and decanting it will improve its flavors.  Montenegrin Vranac is a powerful and robust southern wine, made of the autochthonous variety Vranac which had been grown for centuries in Crmnitza, the area stretching from Lake Skadar towards the Adriatic Sea, at the altitude of 500 meters. Today, Vranac is a leading variety in Podgorica&rsquo;s viticulture area, giving the premium quality with very balanced relation between sugar and acids. Vineyards, established in the shallow, skeletal soils, sun drenched over 2,500 hours annually, give the premium quality of the grapes which is converted by applying the latest technology into the premium wine. The wine is of dark red ruby color. On nose and taste it resembles mature sour cherries and forest fruit with vanilla tones, leaving the lingering taste of fullness and warmth. It is of a very pleasant astringency, which gives it the possibility of lying down and maturing. It matches best with local food, which you may taste if you arrive in our country, but it is perfect with ham, prosciutto and all red meat dishes, game meat and even, fish. It matches perfectly the spicy red meat, grilled meat as well as the sheep&rsquo;s cheese. It is served at 17 to 20 &deg;C.

 This bottle of quality Knipser 2008 Cuv&eacute;e X is a blend of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc grapes. These grapes were grown in our best, limestone-rich vineyards. In order to achieve a more concentrated and intense wine, we decreased our grape yield significantly through short pruning and green harvesting in the summer. The grapes were handpicked in late October, and only the fully mature and perfectly ripe grapes were selected to go into this wine. The grapes were destemmed and, according to traditional practice, left to ferment in the mash for several weeks. Then, following the malolactic fermentation, the wine matured in new French-oak barrels for 24 weeks. This fully fermented dry red wine pairs great with seared or stewed lamb, beef or wild games. The Eichelmann 2012 press review gave 91 points to this wine and remarked, &ldquo;wonderfully intense, ripe dark-colored berries, complexly aromatic, mildly flinty and spicy; wonderfully rich in ripe fruit flavors, complex, elegant, dark chocolate, delicate spices, plum, delicate yet firmly integrated tannins.&rdquo;

Knipser 2008 Cuvée X

 This bottle of fully fermented and dry red wine from Knipser winery is made with selected Pinot Noir grapes. It pairs well with lamb, roast or grilled beef and wild games. This vineyard originally belonged to the former Nonnenhof, a wine estate owned by the Kirschgarten (literally: cherry garden) convent in Worms. The first written record of it appeared in the year 1654 as &ldquo;Im Kirschgarthen.&rdquo; Located at the edge of town, this vineyard is bordered by houses and an embankment to the west, which provides it with the particularly favorable conditions of a microclimate.&rdquo; The Ohlenberg Mountain to the west shelters the entire Kirschgarten site from cold westerly winds. High in loess loam, the soil retains water well and the subsoil is rich in limestone. Our oldest parcel is at the lower end of the Kirschgarten site, along the edge of the village of Laumersheim. Since 2007 the parcel to the south of the A6 highway, known as Mergelweg, has been part of Kirschgarten GG as well. This soil contains vast amounts of limestone. The Eichelmann 2011 press review gave it 92 points and remarked, &ldquo;wonderfully intense, cool red fruit, clear, clean; fascinatingly fruity, delicately juicy, complex, bold and full-bodied, yet elegant with a good structure, tangy, young tannins, excellent finish, great potential.&rdquo;

   This Amarone is obtained with the use of traditional vinification techniques that give a unique and recognizable character. It represents the full expression of the veronese wine growing and enological tradition in accordance with more than a century of old family tradition.  Type of soil:
   Located on clay hills and calcareous layers.  Varietal:
   Corvina 75%; Rondinella 10%; Corvinone 15%.  Harvest period:
   End of September.  Training:
   Pergoletta 5600 vines per hectare.  Harvest vinification and aging:
   The Amarone is produced from the best grapes of the Vapolicella hills, hand harvested and placed in wooden trays inside rooms with well circulated natural air for 4-5 months. Around the middle of January and after reaching the desired sugar content (And reduction of about 25%-30% of weight) the grapes almost raisins are pressed and fermented for 25-30 days at controlled temperature with daily pumpover. Follows a period of decantation and refining in French barriques and Italian oak tonneaux where the malolattic fermentation is also carried out. After 48 months the wine is bottled for a further 6 months final refinement.  Analytical data:
   15% vol.  Tasting notes:
   Ruby red color with garnet nuances. The bouquet impact is elegant and complex, reminiscent of cherry jam, dried roses and hot spices. The taste is warm and soft with vigorous structure and alcohol balanced by soft tannins and elegant acidity.  Serving temperature:
   15&deg;/18&deg;C.  Best with:
   Red meat, game, savory cheese, Monte Veronese cheese.
