What Lies Beneath is the first limited-edition connected T-shirt from Exposed Layers, created as a physical fashion piece that can continue evolving through digital layers. The design draws from cyanotype and the visual language of a ribcage — exploring vulnerability, resilience and what sits beneath the surface. The garment combines contemporary streetwear with connected-product features including NFC access, augmented-reality experiences and an evolving Digital Product Passport / DPP+ journey. The physical edition is strictly limited to 120 pieces. The connected layer can provide access to product and edition information, care and provenance, creative content, AR experiences and future owner-focused updates while the physical garment remains unchanged.
