As we enter the 21st century, artificial intelligence is being used more widely than ever. GGO footballers, AI robots with the size of a human palm, have developed into the widely popular game ‘GGO Football’. They can fully communicate with their human controllers, have learning abilities and can move and play with super speed and strength beyond that of any human. Isaac, a 13 year-old boy, comes into possession of Myth, a GGO footballer who was sent out by his father, Dr. Coleman, who is an assistant to Dr. GGO. He finds out that his father needs to find a suitable controller to bring Myth to win the GGO World Tournament. Upon discovery of this information, Isaac forms Team Barefoot with his friends, and together they bring six GGO footballers to compete in the qualification round in his country.
