TSMA is founded in 1972 to promote expert of Taiwan-made sporting goods, stage trade fairs in import countries, review overseas investment projects, achieve concerted actions for industrial developments and expansion, and implement government polices for industrial environmental protection and prevention of design piracy and trademark counterfeiting. It is the largest national organization in Taiwan's sporting goods industry.
