   The predecessor of Yintan Hi-tech Development Zone, Yingtan Industrial Park, was established in June 2001. After being approved as a provincial industrial park in March 2006, it was upgraded to become a national hi-tech industrial development zone in August 2012. It has been placed in the national top ten of the Development zones with this highest investment value.    Yintan Hi-tech Zone is located in the southwest of Yingtan City.
