   Elevated to state-level status at the end of 2010, a Hi-Tech Industrial Zone appears in southwestern Jingdezhen. In recent years, it has focused on project construction, notably of the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone.   The 50-square-kilometer area&rsquo;s geographical position is superior and its traffic is well developed thanks to national highways, high-speed railways and modern airports. Jingdezhen, together with important surrounding cities, like Shanghai, Wuhan, Hefei and Hangzhou, form a five-hour-travel-time economic circle. YINTAN HI-TECH DEVELOPMENT ZONE

   The predecessor of Yintan Hi-tech Development Zone, Yingtan Industrial Park, was established in June 2001. After being approved as a provincial industrial park in March 2006, it was upgraded to become a national hi-tech industrial development zone in August 2012. It has been placed in the national top ten of the Development zones with this highest investment value. The development zone was bestowed the names of &ldquo;the national recycling transformation demonstration park&rdquo;, &ldquo;the provincial eco industrial park&rdquo; and &ldquo;the provincial copper based new materials industry base&rdquo;.  
   Yintan Hi-tech Zone is located in the southwest of Yingtan City. There are two sub-district offices and a population of 50,000 people with the area of 60 square kilometers in the southwest of Yingtan City. An extra 30-square-kilometer planning area is divided into Bailu Science and Technology Park and Longgang industrial park.  
   The Hi-tech Zone has completed water, electric, gas, road, drainage, sewage, telecommunications and cable network infrastructure. It is gradually developing into a hi-tech enterprise platform, with small and micro entrepreneurial platforms, science and technology financial services platforms and the investment share platforms all growing here. There are 400 enterprises in the zone, initially formed based on six developing industries, namely the development of copper-based material, green water, health, power electronics, new energy and innovative manufacturing industries.  
   In 2013, the main business income of the Yintan Hi-tech Zone reached US$6.7 billion; while its financial income was US$2.2 billion. The Hi-tech Zone positions itself to &ldquo;creating hundreds of billions, and building an industrial new town&rdquo;. It works hard to implement the project to create an innovation driven city, with financial and trade co-operation, hi-tech industrial agglomeration, active technology innovation, complete facilities and a beautiful environment in a modern industrial city.

GANZHOU DEVELOPMENT ZONE

   Ganzhou Development Zone, located in the west of the city of Ganzhou, has a fortuitous geographical position and a total area of 219 square kilometers.  
   The zone is near the exits of Ganyue and Xiarong expressways and is also able to access the Beijing&ndash;Kowloon Railway, Ganzhou&ndash;Longyan Railway, and in the future, the Nanchang&ndash;Ganzhou&ndash;Shenzhen high-speed Railway, which is currently under construction. This new railway will have a modern terminal, providing convenient transportation links. It only takes 15 minutes to travel to Ganzhou Gold Airport.  
   Ganzhou Development Zone enjoys preferential tax policies from Ganzhou City and the state council supports its development.  
   With Hong Kong Industrial Park, an integrated logistics park, and a comprehensive bonded area within the development zone, more than 400 enterprises have settled in, forming the four leading industries of rare earth and tungsten and its application, new energy vehicles, electronic information and bio-pharmaceuticals.

Ganzhou Development Zone 

JIUJIANG ECONOMIC-TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT ZONE

   The Jiujiang Economic-Technological Development Zone rests in the western district of Jiujiang City, on the south bank of the Yangtze River and north of Lu Mount and Eight Mile Lake. Its planning area measures 140 square kilometers. About 150,000 people live there.   With 400 enterprises, the zone forms a primary platform for countries to promote building the Ecological Economic Zone of Poyang Lake and developments along the Jiangxi River. Such developments include a natural deep-water port, container terminals, a port center, a special railway line, the Yangtze River Highway Bridge, a logistics park, a bonded warehouse and a production-materials market.   More quality industrial-reserve land and other factors provide additional advantages. From the forerunner of port activities, plans call for the formation of modern industries and social-welfare facilities, all in a comprehensive industrial zone blessed by economic prosperity, ideal facilities and a beautiful environment in a modern port new-city.   The zone adheres to a slogan of &ldquo;strong power on the port, promote the city powerfully, a production city integrated with the port&rdquo;. Its development path involves major investment platforms as a national export processing zone, West Port, automobile industrial park and science and technology industrial park.   Future industrial investments will focus on new energy, new materials, electronic and electrical appliances, automobiles and parts, high-end equipment manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods. Priorities include environmentally friendly industries, leading or well-known brand enterprises, support to small, specialized and strong science/technology enterprises and promotion of not only production, but also modern service industries to serve for life needs.   Recently, the area has achieved leapfrog development. For many years, it was named as an &ldquo;Advanced Industrial Park in Jiangxi Province and an &ldquo;Advanced National Level Development Zone&rdquo;. In addition, it has won titles as a national hi-tech innovation service center, Jiangxi green ecological industrial demonstration park, Jiangxi photovoltaic industrial base, electronic information industry export base, engineering industry demonstration base, service outsourcing demonstration park and modern service-industry agglomeration district.
