852 Films was formed in 2007.It was co-founded by Conroy Chan and Josie Ho and was later joined by Andrew Ooi. 
In 2010, 852 Films released Pang Ho Cheung “DREAM HOME“ garnering many nominations and awards at the Hong Kong, Taiwan Golden Horse and Sitges Film Festival.In the same year 852 Films released Wong Jing Po “REVENGE A LOVE STORY“ also garnering nominations and awards at the Puchon, Taiwan Golden Horse and Moscow Film Festival.
In 2015 852 Films released Derek Kwok“FULL STRIKE“ winning best film at Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Awards and was also selected for Osaka Asian Film Festival.
852 Films also produce and invest in films abroad like Hany Abu-Assad “THE COURIER“ in 2012,Gonzales Lopez-Gallego “OPRN GRAVE“ in 2013,
John Cameron Mitchell “HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES“ in 2017 and the comic“ WIDOW WARRIOR“ by Pat Lee in 2011.
