BSH Home Appliances Ltd. was incorporated at the end of 1993 and started operations in October 1994. As a subsidiary of Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group of Germany, the company is the sole importer and distributor in Hong Kong of the product range manufactured by the parent company. Currently, the company employs 110 staff in Hong Kong. Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group, which manufactures home appliances in 45 factories on three continents, was launched in 1967 as a joint venture of Siemens AG and Robert Bosch GmbH, both of Germany. The Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of electrical consumer goods, employs 39,000 staff world-wide and achieved revenues of more than 8.8 billion EMS in 2007.
