CD133 Innovation Limited is a biomedical startup spin off from Hong Kong Baptist University and financially supported by Technology Start-up Scheme for Universities (TSSSU) from Innovation and Technology Commission. Our company is committed to developing and perfecting an innovative nanotechnology invention. Our company is pursuing a highly precise, sensitive and specific detection of Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC). It can be used as a valuable additional evidence for early cancer diagnosis with our bio-imaging technology. By using our designed magnetic nano-sized contrast agent - Neurostem imaging, an in-situ dual-mode cell tracking can be performed. This innovative technology enable surgeon to visualise the target cells or neural stem cells for precise location and navigate the whole isolation process in real time under magnetic resonance imaging. By combing our strategic designed nanoparticles with the current commercial available early detection of CTC fishing kit, the detection ability of CTC is highly enhanced and provide more prognostic information for patients.
