Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens (CZVS) is a division of Carl Zeiss Vision (CZV) headquartered in Aalen, Germany. CZV was formed from the merger of the ophthalmic division of Carl Zeiss AG and Sola International Inc. in early 2005.

Since the inception of the Sunlens Division of Sola in 1993, we have been specializing in development, production and distribution of plano sunlenses for the Sunglasses industry. Not only that CZVS is now a pioneer in new material technology and lens shapes, but also being a trend-setter in fashion colours. Lens materials range from CR39 resin, polycarbonate, to polyamide (Nylon), and their variants which are proprietary to CZVS. On functional applications, we offer polarized, phtochromic, impact resistant, and sport lenses. The latest V-tech lenses with patented technology distinguish themselves through shapes that conform to human face contours, while excelling in optical parameters and complying with international norms. In recent years, CZVS has also been regarded as an expert in lens fashion colour recommendations, via our yearly Spring Summer Collections. Besides, prescription sun lenses are offered in some markets in the US and Europe.

CZVS operates globally, with factories in Italy, Brazil, and very soon, China (by mid 2007). The headquarters are located in Italy, while R&D is backed up by our Australia ophthalmic laboratory and US consultants. Commercial operations extend to the Americas and Asia. The Hong Kong office is responsible for the Asia Pacific markets.
