Chaine, Chow & Barbara Hung was established on 1st June 1999 following the merger of the practices of Chaine & Chow and Miss Barbara Hung.

Chaine & Chow was established in 1986 by a merger between the practices of Mr. Francis Chaine and Mr. TM Chow who had both established their own firm in the 1960s. In mid 2011, the firm has 3 Partners, 1 Senior Associate, 3 Associates and 12 non-professional staff.

The firm provides a wide range of legal services with particular emphasis on:-

- Matrimonial law including divorce, ancillary relief and custody (including both local and overseas proceedings) with their matrimonial team headed by their Senior Partner Miss Barbara Hung, who was admitted to practice in Hong Kong in 1983 and has, up to now, 28 years' experience in the field, and consisted of 5 other experienced solicitors and various supporting staff. 

- Conveyancing wills and probate practices mainly handle by their Partners Mr. TM Chow and Miss Wong Yuk Fun who were admitted to practice in Hong Kong in 1963 and 1994 respectively and have substantial experience in these areas.

- Civil litigation including property and insurance related disputes, personal injury and employee's compensation cases mainly handle by their Senior Associate Ms. Christine Tsang who was admitted to practice in Hong Kong in 1990 and has extensive experience in these areas.
