Chiwan Shipping (Hong Kong) Co Ltd (CSC) is a full subsidiary of China Nanshan Development Co Ltd (CNDC), a holding company established in 1982. It has developed Chiwan Port to be one of the biggest Southern China seaports, the main shareholders include China Merchants Group, China Resources Group, Bank of China Group, etc.
The main facilities of the company include
a. Total of 17 fully equipped large and medium sized berths offering handling services for container, bulk cargoes and general cargoes.
b. Two container barges with capacity of 270 TEU, providing daily liner service sailing between Hong Kong and Chiwan every day.
c. Total of 100 units container tractors and trucks providing land service between Chiwan and Shenzhen / Guangdong.
d. A six-storey godown with area of 40,000 sq. metres providing warehousing and consolidation service, bonded and unbonded cargo are also acceptable.
e. PRC Government permitted licence to handle customs clearance.
f. Self-owned Railway linked with Shenzhen Northern Railway station.
The company provides coastal barge service, international freight forwarding, shipping agency, consolidation service, PRC customs declaration service, rail freight service and trucking services. It is the Shenzhen cargo agent of liners including OOCL, K Line, Mexican Line, CMA, APL, COSCO, providing ocean direct and transhipment service ex. Chiwan, Shekou, Yantian in Shenzhen frequently.
Its CY/CFS is located in Shenzhen Chiwan Godown, Chiwan Port, Shenzhen, PRC, which is about 10 minutes drive from Shekou Industrial Zone.
Chiwan has 30 experienced and competent PRC staff working at Chiwan Office, with expertise in consolidation, shipping, trucking and customs clearance affairs.
