EDPS System Ltd was established in December 1974 by a group of computer specialists whose aims were to maximize work efficiency through the use of effective computer application. At present, EDPS employs approximately 1000 computer professionals supported by a strong team of project managers, system analysts, programmers and technical support experts.
EDPS' traditional as well as on-going business is to provide information technology systems and services to the Government and major corporations. These services include contract staff service and turnkey software development.
a) Contract Staff Service - Secondment of project managers, system analysts, programmers, etc. for a contracted period can be hired at a fixed rate. During that time, the customers have completed discretion regarding staff schedules. From as early as 1977, EDPS has been one of the major suppliers of contract manpower to the Hong Kong Government and large corporations.
