Deutsche Asiatische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (DBA) Ltd is incorporated in Hong Kong and registered under the Securities Ordinance Reg No IA 002987 with the Securities and Futures Commission as an investment advisor for institutional clients and/or high net with individuals.
In co-operation with some of the highest rated international financial institutions, the company provides a full range of private banking and investment banking services.
Its business activities comprise of:
(1) Private banking consultants;
(2) Investment advice on international financial market;
(3) Fund management;
(4) Through its investment unit, Deutsche Investment Corporation (Asia) Ltd, a company incorporated in Bermuda, DBA invests in listed/Asian equities (mainly Hong Kong and China), property and private equity projects with the potential of an IPO exit.
(5) Investment banking
Deutsche Investment Corporation (Asia) Ltd holds a 10% interest in GSP Finance (Bangladesh).  GSP was co-founded by DBA's chairman and incorporated in Bangladesh in 1995 under a licence granted by Bangladesh Bank (Central Bank) in accordance with the Non-Banking Financial Institution act of 1993.
While the licence covers the full range of investment banking services (eg. corporate finance, underwriting, venture capital, short term trade related finance, corporate advising services and money market operations) the main focus of GSP is on leasing and lease financing, as well as project finance.
