Gulf Semiconductor headquartered in Hong Kong has factories in China manufacturing low-to-medium power rectifiers. The product line includes a full range of silicon rectifiers and diodes from standard through ultrafast recovery.
The company is well known for their "Sintered Glass" technology. This line of diodes are constructed using round dice, metallurgically bonded between two moly slugs and at high temperature brazed to copper leads. The silicon chip is passivated using the proprietary cavity free sintered glass process. Finally the whole structure is molded in flame resistant epoxy.
