It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the publicly-listed i-CABLE Communications Limited.  i-CABLE Communications Limited is Hong Kong's only fully integrated communications company which owns and operates the territory's second near-universal telecommunications network; creates its own multimedia contents; and provides Pay TV and Internet access service, including Broadband service, at the same time.
The Pay TV service was launched on October 31, 1993 with a franchise covering all of Hong Kong and represents one of the single largest cable systems in the world.  It now offers about 100 channels and programmes over 30,000 fresh programming a year, including 10,000 hours of its own production, making it one of the largest producers of television programmes in Hong Kong.
The Company is also Hong Kong's second largest Broadband Internet access service provider, distributed via the Company's own high capacity hybrid fibre coaxial network, which covers over 90% of the 2-million odd households in Hong Kong.
