Hong Kong Overseas Studies Centre was established in 1977 and incorporated in 1985. It was set up as an extension of HKST under the name of Study Advisers International with the purpose of providing educational counseling services to students and parents seeking information on overseas educational opportunities.
HKOSC now represents over 2000 overseas institution from UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia & China. It works with high schools, English Language schools. TAFE and Polytechnics, Further Education colleges, community colleges and universities as well as offering the Exchange Prograrmmes in Germany and Holland, Work & Travel Australia/New Zealand, Conservation Volunteers Australian (CVA), Wildlife Volunteer Work in Africa, Willing Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF).
Students have access to comprehensive collection of educational directories, Institution handbooks, brochures, video & CD facilities providing information on more than 2000 overseas institutions.
