The Hong Kong Trustee' Association Ltd was incorporated in Hong Kong as a company limited by guarantee in 1991 as a non-profit making organisation with the principal aim of representing the trust industry in Hong Kong.
The main objectives of the Associaton are:
- to represent the trust and fiduciary services industry in dealing with the HKSAR Government, the media and other professional bodies and the public;
- to represent the industry in Hong Kong in the areas of proposed or exisitng legislation and regulation which affect the trust industry;
- to establish a forum for practitioners in the trust industry to meet and discuss developments in the industry;
- to maintain high standards of professionalism in the industry;
- to promote the industry in Hong Kong and abroad;
- to provide education in trust related matters to its members and the public.
