The company a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton Malletier in Paris was formed in 1979 to operate the, then, first Louis Vuitton store in Hong Kong.
The number of retail shops has since grown to seven. Aside from running the domestic retail operation, the company also acts as management and operations co-ordinating arm for Louis Vuitton companies and business in Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Guam, Saipan, Australia & New Zealand. Including Hong Kong, there are today 58 exclusive Louis Vuitton stores in the region, which operate within the framework of Louis Vuitton's controlled distribution marketing policy.
The company also provides support and management services to other LVMH fashion and Leather goods brands in Asia Pacific.
