Quasar Engineering Ltd. Is a Contract Manufacturer for medical devices with two factories in south China, Thailand and main office in Hong Kong, with European management and ownership. Quasar has been incorporated in 1988 and employs over 1,200 people. 
Quasar provides turnkey production services for complete products as well as sub-assemblies, we also manufactures Cable Harnesses based on customers’ specifications. 
We are ISO13485 certified by BSI UK, utilizing up to date manufacturing technology, such as COB (Chip On Board) and SMT (Surface Mount Technology), as well as conventional through-hole components. 
The factories are located in a town called Sheko (near the city of Shenzhen) and Dongguan in south China, close to the border with Hong Kong, and is reachable from Hong Kong in a one-hour ride on a fast ferry. Marketing, purchasing management and finance are done in our main office at Hong Kong. 
Our turnkey service includes purchasing of the parts (including PCB) and components (based on our customers BOM (Bill Of Material) and specifications), making tools for plastic injection and/or metal parts, if required, and of course assembly, testing, packing and shipping. 
Most of our customers are from Europe and the USA.
