Ryoden (China) Company Limited started to explore the construction industry of China market since the beginning of 1980's. The Company had taken out the HVAC installation contract for the White Swan Hotel & Commercial Building in Guangzhou and became one of the first batch of Hong Kong Companies which participated in the establishment of modernized Mainland China. The company is principally engaged in the business of M&E installation for hotels, offices, apartments, factories and villas, including HVAC, fire services, plumbing and drainage, electrical installation, security surveillance system, building management system, project management, repair and maintenance services etc. The Company received much recognition for some completed projects, such as the Chongqing Metropolitan Plaza won the Lu Ban and Zhan Tian Yau Award, Guangzhou Metroplaza and Guangzhou Avon manufacturing plant achieved the Lu Ban Award. In Shanghai, both the Times Square and the German Centre received the White Orchid Award.  

In the early 1990's, Ryoden (China) Co Ltd, had joint venture with the Guangdong Industrial Equipment Installation Company and formed company namely Guangdong Yuean Ryoden M&E Engineering Co Ltd, as to expand the business capacity in China and to take care of M&E installation works in the southern part of China. Pursuant to China entering WTO, Ryoden (China) Co Ltd had set-up a subsidiary, Ryoden M&E Engineering (Shanghai) Co Ltd [RCS] at the end of 2003 in Shanghai. RCS acquired the M&E Installation General Contractor Grade A License in March 2006, in order to respond to market changes and to prepare for business development at all fronts anywhere in China. Target projects include five-star hotels, shopping centres, commercial and residential buildings as well as manufacturing plants in major cities across Mainland China.
