The company began as a leather work glove manufacturer in Hong Kong in 1978 with 30 sewing machines and 5 clickers.  Two years later, moved to south China and our production grew gradually to over 30,000 dozen monthly.  In 1986 we started our rainwear division making mostly supported and unsupported PVC industrial rainwear.  In 1992 we acquired 100,000 square feet of land in Long Guang District, Shenzhen and a 3-storey building was completed in 1994 with separate quarters for workers.  Injection molding machines were installed making safety goggles as well as special equipment making chemical resistant suits that meets CE Category 3 standard coated rainwear was also introduced for both adults and children.
In 1997, our company was reorganized and later renamed Sureguard Safety Products Ltd.  Our sales office remains in Hong Kong backed by our own manufacturing facilities as well as many other factories across China dealing in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  To name a few, these include polypropylene disposable garments and dust masks, disposable gloves made of PE, vinyl, latex and nitrile, machine knit string gloves whether or not coated with latex or nitrile, 100% cotton or cotton blend cut and sewn gloves, nylon inspectors gloves, and so on.
