Dah Sing Life is incorported with limited liability in Bermuda with its principle activity being the underwriting and issue of life assurance policies which are administered and sold through its Hong Kong Agency, Dah Sing Insurance Services Ltd. 

Dah Sing Life is authorised and regulated in its life assurance activities by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority operating within the terms of the Insurance Companies Ordinance. 

The company is a member of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers and within which it is also a member of the HKFI's Life Insurance Council. In addition it is a member of the Insurance Claims Complaints Bureau. 

All of its agents are registered with the Insurance Agents Registration Board and undergo a continuous programme of training. The administrative staff are encouraged to undertake formal training in life assurance under the auspice of the internationally recognised Life Offices Management Association programme. In 1995, the company received the LOMA Excellence in Education award for its outstanding student performance; consistently high participation and strong emphasis on professional development. Ongoing training remains a key strategy in the development of the company.

In 1998, ISO 9002 certification was achieved making the Company a quality provider of life assurance. Since 1999, the Company was persistently awarded ISO 9001 certification. This enables Dah Sing Life to become the first life assurance company in Hong Kong to achieve this recognition.
