Nanomade

Founded in 2019 in Toulouse in collaboration with the CNRS, Nanomade is transforming human-machine interaction with its patented quantum sensor technology, based on a nanoparticle ink that enables any surface—even metal—to become interactive.


Our Force & Touch solution detects touch, pressure, gestures, proximity, patterns, and complex interactions like pinch, on surfaces of any shape or material. Fully hidden beneath the surface, our sensors provide seamless, intuitive, and non-intrusive user experiences without compromising product design.


Designed to meet the rigorous demands of industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace, and defense, our sensors are highly durable—resistant to water, dust, impact, and extreme temperatures (from -40°C to +85°C). This ensures long-term reliability in all environments.

One of our key advantages lies in combining multiple sensing capabilities into a single sensor, which reduces false activations and enables more secure and ergonomic interactions.

Ultra-thin, low-energy, and fully customizable, our sensors can be embedded into even the smallest and most complex devices, from wearables and smartwatches to curved screens and invisible control panels.


In addition to this application, Nanomade also develops two other key solutions:

- Deformation sensing, for predictive maintenance and structural health monitoring,

- Physiological detection, for contactless monitoring of vital signs in mobility and defense contexts.


With these three pillars, Nanomade aims to unlock the future of intelligent, embedded interfaces.
