Ichibiki Co., Ltd. began brewing miso and tamari soy sauce using stocks from the shogunate in 1772 (the first year of the An'ei era). In 1919 (the eighth year of the Taisho era), the company's predecessor, Otsuya Co., Ltd., was established, and thanks to the support of many customers, we were able to celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2019.

Since our founding, we have been particular about ingredients and manufacturing methods, and have been making creative efforts to provide delicious and satisfying products to as many customers as possible. We have also been honing new technologies and working on the development of various seasonings and processed foods in response to changes in customer needs. All of our employees will continue to put themselves in the customer's shoes and strive to create products of the quality that will be chosen by customers.
