create a concentrated richness that cannot be found anywhere else.
In addition, 70% of Arita's mandarin orange orchards are on sloping land, and
most of them are stone-walled terraced mandarin orange fields.
The stone walls that were built by hand by our predecessors since the Edo period
have been repaired and are still left to this day.
This is due to the heat retention, drainage, and
light reflection properties of the stone walls.
Too much water can result in watery, bland mandarin oranges, so
the good drainage of the stone walls creates a strong richness and sweetness.
