In 2002 Carmen graduated at the Academy of Arts in Arnhem, at the fashion department. In 2003 she started her own brand, Tesj bags and accessories. It designs and produces high quality bags and accessories. Her signature is simplicity, luxury and functionality. This translates in its current collection into clear forms with leather as a powerful, durable material. The collection of Tesj is characterized by the different ways of wearing. For example, the Sienna bag can be made longer, shorter, larger or smaller. In 2009 she will also launch, a mens collection.
