 Qualia Wines was founded in December 2019 but our goes back over 120 years to 1887 to the early viticultural pioneers in our region.

The name “Qualia” comes from a Latin word meaning “what sort” or “what kind”, it’s a term used in philosophy to describe how we sense our surroundings.

We have full conformity to global GMP through our ISO 22000 accreditation with SIA Global (incorporating HACCP). Our winemaking team share over 100 years of industry experience.

Our on-site storage exceeds 60 million litres in insulated temperature controlled stainless steel vessels. With an annual grape crush in exceeding of 50,000 tonnes from over 600 hectares of proprietary vineyards with the balance coming from a 120 growers. This crush ranks Qualia Wines in the top six leading winemakers in Australia.

Our grape intake encompasses major premium viticultural regions including Barossa Valley, Limestone Coast, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale, Fleurieu, Langhorne Creek and Cowra. However, the majority of our crush is sourced from vineyards in the Murray Darling region.

We offer premium brands including Barramundi, Spee’Wah and Little Eden. Specialising in pre vintage made to order projects including bulk and an exclusive label services.
