France Uncorked Ltd

France Uncorked Ltd was established in France in 2005. Simon Trevor had extensive experience of the drinks industry having worked in Scotch whisky on the export side of the business for The Famous Grouse and The Macallan for many years. A love of France and its celebrated wine and spirits took him away from Scotland to Bordeaux. It soon became apparent that despite excellent products being made, many of the small and medium-sized producers were unable to market their products to a wider international audience, due lack of funds and personnel.


Using experience and contacts gained in the whisky industry, he started working with the best producers in the Bordeaux area, with the aim of helping them develop export markets. Over the years France Uncorked has acquired an extensive network of suppliers from many different appellations, extending from Bordeaux to the rest of France. We now work with small and medium producers, organic vineyards, plus the best Caves Co-operatives across the whole of France.


On the customer side, we tend to work in-depth with a small number of clients, sourcing their needs ranging from entry-level wine, through own-label wine and spirits up to excellent quality, award-winning wines that are the best in their field.
